Calcutta Outdoors names new President and General Manager


Calcutta Outdoors – owner of fishing brands that include Matzuo, Sea Striker, Ready2Fish and South Bend – has appointed a new President and General Manager.

It has named Chris Carlisle, who has most recently led the marketing efforts for BraunAbility, the world’s largest transportation mobility company, supporting the growth of the its North American manufacturing and retail units as well as its European manufacturing division.

“We are thrilled to have Chris join the Calcutta Outdoors team,” said Ed Small, CEO of the group’s owner, Peak Global Holdings. “His extensive experience and track record in building and developing strong consumer brands will be a tremendous asset that will help Calcutta continue to provide best-in-class service and value to its customers.”

Originally from Texas, Carlisle will join the management team at Morehead City, North Carolina, and will report to Small.

An award-winning thought leader and conference presenter, his domestic and international expertise in marketing technology and lifestyle branding, applied in both retail and manufacturing settings, will accelerate the momentum behind the Calcutta Outdoors brand portfolio,” added Small.
