EFTTEX Awards: ‘Preservation of planet’ is at our core says Rainbow Kayaks

Share

Italian-based Rainbow Kayaks – part of the EFTTEX regular Euro-Tank Nord Group – says that the preservation of the planet is core to its manufacturing procedures.

“All Rainbow kayaks are produced using clean energy thanks to our Photovoltaic solar power system,” says the company. Its entry in this year’s first-ever digital EFTTEX Awards, the Hardbelly Fishing Pro, has been a beneficiary of this environmentally-friendly thinking.

The belly boat is made of Polyethylene and, because of its structure, is unsinkable and extremely durable. It has a hollow interior, much like a modern kayak, and is said to be ideal for bass fishing in environments that include the sea or lagoons.

Rainbow says that great attention has been given to the onboard electronics as is demonstrated by the double positioning transducer system and the 180-degree side vision.

Other features include:

  • Six rod holders
  • Three waterproof hatches
  • Engine storage compartment
  • Housing for echo-sounder transducer (including side imaging models)
  • Two integrated wheels
  • Four carrying handles
  • 13 traction points for spare parts
  • Padded seat
  • • Four RailBlaza transducer mounts

Rainbow Kayaks is also entering the Livewell (above) into the Accessories category of the awards. It can be towed behind a kayak or boat, is easily accessible and means the angler does not have to sacrifice precious space on the craft for a bulky item to store his catch.
