Top Fuji Rod Components agency in US sold

The company that has distributed Fuji Rod Components in the US for over 28 years has been sold.

Anglers Resource, the Alabama-based business, has ranked the number one agent for the Japanese company’s products in North America for decades under the stewardship of Carl Haber.

Fuji Japan has agreed to honour all exclusivity agreements with new owner, Bill Falconer (pictured). Haber said: “It was an opportunity for me to spend more time with family and know that Anglers Resource will move forward with a renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm. I could not be more pleased with the way things have worked out.”

Falconer – an avid rod builder – brings 17 years of experience in improving workflows, processes, efficiencies and customer satisfaction in the healthcare industry. He has honed his rod building craft over 25 years and is a published author and teacher.

He is also a leading-edge enthusiast in bringing technique-specific rod designs to the US from Japan, such as Slow Pitch Jigging.

Falconer pledged to address supply chain issues, inventory and data/technological challenges as the top items on his ‘to-do’ list. “I look forward to meeting and talking to customers across the US. We will strive to make the transition as seamless as possible. Anglers Resource will maintain its facility in Foley and day-today business will continue as it has successfully for the last 28 years.”
