Omega Custom Tackle under new ownership

Omega Custom Tackle has new owners. The St Louis, Missouri company, founded by Brad and Michele Fuller, has been acquired by pro angler Taylor Watkins and his wife, Noel (pictured).

The Fullers have owned the business since September 2016, during which time they increased the product line and achieved a 300% increase in sales. Omega products include jigs, jigheads, buzz baits and spinnerbaits

“We are proud of what we have accomplished,” said Michele Fuller. “We added many new, innovative products while working to make Omega what it is today. We know Taylor and Noel will continue to grow the brand.”

Taylor Watkins is a two-time National Professional Fishing League champion. He won the league’s season one finale at Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees last year and recorded his second win at Lake Cumberland in February.

“We are excited to do our part to continue the growth of the company and expand its reach,” said Taylor. “We want to thank all of the Omega customers, retailers and the team for their continued support.”
