Smith’s Consumer Products believe it has an ICAST award in the bag with the Mr. Crappie Chiller Bait and Fish Bag.
The 30-inch insulated bag is designed to both keep livebait active and the catch of the day fresh and cold for the cleaning table.
Developed with input from Mr. Crappie himself, Wally Marshall, it is constructed from heavy-duty washable, marine-grade tarpaulin inside and out, and has a capacity of 35 quarts.
Keeping the cold in and heat out is a half-inch of dense, closed-cell insulation, while a universal aerator mounting loop and a hose port ensure that livebait remains cool and well-oxygenated. There’s also an integrated drain port, a corrosion-proof zipper, an adjustable, padded shoulder strap and a flat bottom to keep the bag upright.
Smith’s is an Arkansas-based company dating back to 1886 and best-known for its broad range of knife and scissor sharpeners.
