While there may be blistering temperatures during next week’s ICAST trade show, ice fishing enthusiasts will already have one eye on colder times ahead. And they have not been forgotten by renowned rod maker St. Croix.
The Wisconsin manufacturer will be showing its new Skandic Ice series in Orlando and promises the ‘hot’ products will match the temperatures.
“Combining precise and sensitive tips with powerful backbones, a new Seaguide Delta guide train and our most durable materials to date, this series is designed to excel in any hardwater presentation,” says St. Croix.
And the company has backed its judgment by entering the rods in the ice category of the show’s eagerly-anticipated New Product Showcase.
Made from solid carbon blanks with custom handle configurations for different techniques, the series comprises 12 models ranging from 24 inches to 36 inches and stretching all the way from ultra light to heavy power.
