Scott Fly Rods appoint new midwest sales rep

Doug Scott, founder of the Parallel 45 Sales Group, is now representing Scott Fly Rods as sales rep for the midwest of the US.

Scott, from Minnesota, has been working in the outdoor and fly fishing industry for almost 20 years. A keen musky angler, he started out as a guide before working with Alaskan non-profits in defence of Bristol Bay.

He now works with fly fishing and outdoor companies through his wholesale agency and for last ten years has worked with specialty retailers.

“Doug is a great fit for the brand and team,” said Jim Bartschi, President of the Montrose, Colorado company. “He’s a passionate angler, smart ethical business leader and good steward.”

Scott says his agency’s mission is to partner with businesses to drive sustainable change and growth.
