Do-it Molds to premier Magnum version of WMF at ICAST

The Weedless Midwest Finesse (WMF) became one of Do-it Molds most popular products when it was released last year. Now the Iowa company has collaborated with Victory Hooks to create a Magnum version of the jig.

The all-new Magnum WMF mold works exclusively with the 10777 Victory EWG hook in sizes 2/0 to 4/0 and will be released this month at ICAST.

“We knew that we had created something special with last year’s WMF mold,” said Brennan Chapman, Product Development Manager for Do-it. “Allowing the tackle builder to create a one-of-a kind Ned rig, but with weedless capabilities, was an instant success. The new magnum sizes take finesse fishing to new depths, and the strength and performance of the Victory Hooks are incredible.”

Formed less than two years ago, Victory Hooks was founded by the experienced Terry Hansen and Harry Simmons and is based in Sioux City, Iowa.

The new mold allows custom tackle makers to pour 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16 and 5/8 ounce jigs. It has delivered superior weedless capabilities and excellent hook-up rates during rigorous testing, say the makers, as well as allowing anglers to ‘power fish’ a casting rod with a highly effective finesse presentation.

The Magnum MWF will be available in July at www.do-itmolds.com and will also be sold through custom tackle retailers.
