Abu Garcia continues 16-year support of grassroots fishing


Pure Fishing brand Abu Garcia is to continue its support of grassroots fishing in the US.

It has renewed its sponsorship of the Bass Pro Shops Collegiate Bass Fishing Series as well as continuing its support for college anglers through a variety of programmes and initiatives.

“We are excited to be able to continue our partnership in 2022 as the presenting sponsor of the Bass Pro Shops School of the Year programme,” said Jon Schlosser, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Abu Garcia. “The growth we are seeing in collegiate bass fishing among both participants and followers is amazing.

The Bass Pro Shops School of the Year presented by Abu Garcia is a 12-month long chase to be ranked the number one team in all of collegiate fishing.
