AFFTA promotes use of non-plastic fly boxes

As efforts to remove plastic from the tackle industry continue, the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) Fisheries Fund is promoting the use of non-plastic fly boxes to help support its work for conservation and stewardship.
The Eco-Fly range of boxes is a 100% eco-friendly alternative that is economical, reusable and biodegradable, says the Association.
Available to the trade in small or large, the low-profile boxes are designed to hold dry flies, nymphs and small streamers. And the seamless fold-flat bottom ensures that even the smallest midges are not lost.
The small size is 2 x 2 x 1.25ins, with 1,000 per pack. The large size is 6 x 3 x 2ins, with 500 per pack. The cost is $120 and $115 respectively.
As a spring/summer special offer, AFFTA is supplying 50 free boxes with every order. For more information click here
The AFFTA Fisheries Fund was established in 2014 as a charitable non-profit body to advance the stewardship and conservation mission of AFFTA.
