Glacier Glove acquired by private investment firm

Glacier Glove, the manufacturer of gloves for fishing and hunting, has been acquired by private investment firm, Elvisridge Capital, where it joins Blackfin Rods and the BBS (FINS Fishing) line brand.
Announcing the deal, Elvisridge Managing Director, Michael Southard, said: “Glacier fits well with our existing portfolio companies in this space. Our strategy will be to continue to add distribution points, as well as increase the speed and quantity of product development.”
Harvey Miller will continue in his role as Glacier’s General Manager, reporting to Bill Bolton, VP of Fishing Products at Elvisridge.
Based in Reno, Nevada, Glacier Glove was formed in 1982. Elvisridge is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, with offices in Tampa and Detroit. The firm’s target investment sectors include sport fishing and landscape products.
