US tackle brand, KastKing, part of the Eposeidon Group, has made two senior appointments following the retirement of long-serving Marketing Director, Tom Gahan.
New Marketing Director is Joe Woodward, a 20-year veteran in the fishing and boating industries. “I look forward to getting KastKing products into more peoples’ hands so they can experience that moment when they realise their days of compromising are over and they can get to use innovative and dependable gear that’s actually affordable,” said Woodward.
Regina Gray, an IGFA world record holder, also joins the KastKing team as Creative Director after developing award-winning content strategies for four outdoor brands. Her responsibilities will include directing the brand’s social media channels and its team of ambassadors.
“This partnership has been a long-time in the making,” said Gray. “As an advocate for women in the fishing industry and a steward of conservation, I strive to build my reputation around positive initiatives with like-minded brands.
“I couldn’t be happier to work with Eposeidon, a company that has pure enthusiasm for engaging the fishing community. I believe that uniting a team of passionate anglers in the marketing department is a sure-fire recipe for creating a world-class strategy.”
KastKing’s VP of Business Development, Al Noraker, said: “Joe is a key addition and will play an integral role in the growth of KastKing worldwide. He is here because of his marketing experience in the outdoor industry, his passion for fishing and his extraordinary understanding of what the fishing consumer is focussed on today.
“Regina will bring new ideas to expose our brand to a broader range of consumers. She is a passionate angler who identifies with her target audience and will position KastKing across all regions, target species and consumer demographics.”
KastKing, began life as an e-commerce model and is expanding into traditional retail. Eposeidon is headquartered in Long Island, New York.
