French retail chain Pacific Pêche has opened a new store in Amiens – its 39th nationwide – and has revealed plans to open up to another six in the next two years.
Located in the northern French city because of its heavy concentration of anglers and its access to fisheries, the new 720 square metre store opened last week, but will have its official inauguration on March 25th.
“We have renovated and transferred four stores in 2021 and will open two stores, Amiens and Metz, in 2022,” said Chairman and CEO Agathe Boidin. “We are also planning to open three to five stores in 2023 and 2024.”
The Amiens store will cater for all types of fishing and will be operated by a team of four, headed up by store manager Solène Newstead.
Pacific Pêche, founded in 1993, was bought out of administration in 2020 by LOGS, an international logistics company.
