Sea Falcon agrees exclusive US distribution deal

Sea Falcon lures are now available to anglers in the US following an exclusive agreement with SPRO and Gamakatsu.
Handmade in the Bluing Hearts Craft Centre in Japan, every Sea Falcon lure is based on a hand-carved original created by its CEO and Chief Designer, Tetsuya Itou, one of Japan’s foremost lure makers.
The manufacturing facility is in Hamamatsu, where all processes from planning and development to final finishing are completed under one roof.
Sea Falcon plugs feature a hybrid structure designed to add strength and enhance the lure’s action. A thick resin coating protects the bait when clamped in the jaws of predators and also ensures that it does not absorb water.
Inside the balsa core is a lead weight positioned for perfect balance and buoyancy. More than 20 coatings are applied to achieve the appearance of a small prey fish.
The same standards are adhered to in the making of Sea Falcon jigs, the production process including moulding, polishing, undercoating, colouring, layering and packaging. Aluminium and holographic applications are also available.
Fellow Japanese brand Gamakatsu designs hooks specifically to complement Sea Falcon lures and plugs. SPRO’s US headquarters is in Kennesaw, Georgia.
