Northern Ireland’s international water expo is back
Northern Ireland’s international water sports expo is back on the calendar for 2023 after being postponed this year due to COVID restrictions.
The Ireland on the Water Expo is scheduled for March 4th and 5th, 2023, and will feature fishing, boating, kayaking, surfing, swimming and scuba diving.
Up to 6,000 visitors are expected to attend the event at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn, the largest indoor exhibition space in the country.
“We have hosted successful events for ten years now, including the Ireland Angling Show in Dublin, so we honestly believe that the increasing passion and interest in marine leisure over recent years calls for a bigger and better show,” said Hugh Bonner, Chief Executive of the event’s organiser, Mara Media.
The show will feature talks from experts in all areas of the marine leisure sector, while also giving visitors the opportunity to chat to professionals and visit exhibitor stands to see new products.
Richard Honeyford, Chief Operating Officer of the Royal Yacht Association, said that the Eikon centre presented exhibitors with “the opportunity to think outside the box, design unique stands and highlight the diverse range of activities and equipment available.”
