IFTD show floor space is sold out

Show floor space for this month’s International Fishing Tackle Dealer (IFTD) show is sold out, reports the event’s organiser, the American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA).
However, there are still tickets available for the Industry Breakfast, taking place on the first morning of the show (March 30th).
Heading the 90-minute session at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah, is keynote speaker Captain Benny Blanco. Also among the speakers are AFFTA Chairman Jim Bartschi, Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation President Dave Chanda and AFFTA Executive Director Lucas Bissett.
The show itself is preceded by the Dealer Summit on March 29th, a series of seminars focused towards social media, digital strategies, eCommerce and expanding the customer base.
Another must attend event is the Party on the Pond, from 4pm to 6pm on March 31, when the New Product Showcase award winners will be revealed.
Show producer Kenneth Andres said: “This will be my first in-person trade show for two years after the shutdown due to the pandemic and I am so excited. I am thankful to work in an industry that embraces optimism, out-of-the-box thinking, process and a perpetual state of learning. I can’t wait to get back in the convention centre, walk on concrete floors and hear the roar of the fork lifts.”
