Rapala VMC introduces new UK management structure

Rapala VMC has introduced a new management structure in the UK following the appointment of former UK head, Marcus Twidale, as President of Rapala USA in December.

Daryl Hodges (above left), previously Head of Marketing for Dynamite Baits and Carp Spirit, and Duncan Lennox (right), from the operations and production side of the business, have been made Joint Managing Directors.

Hodges’ role takes in responsibility for all sales and marketing and the carp categories for the UK and Europe, while Lennox has specific responsibilities for all UK operations, including the factory, finance and IT.

“There is incredible passion from the top of the Rapala business and we are focused on channeling that into our new roles and our team culture,” said Hodges.

Marcus Twidale had been CEO of Rapala UK, Dynamite Baits and Carp Spirit since October 2019. Together with Pete Chandler, he co-founded Dynamite in 2000 and continued as Managing Director after it was purchased by Rapala in 2010.
