Billings joins former work colleague Wollner at Northland

Northland Tackle, one of America’s best known lure brands, has appointed the experienced Rick Billings to manage its supply chain and inventory.

He will also be responsible for the development and manufacturing of the new Northland and Bagley hardbait ranges.

Billings, who started out at IBM before spending 15 years as VP of Operations and Product Development at Rapala, becomes VP of Operations at the Minnesota manufacturer.

Northland CEO Gregg Wollner has known Billings for 30 years and worked with him at Rapala. “I’ve seen firsthand the impact he can make on a business. I am thrilled to add him to our team,” said Wollner.

Billings has been a competitive bass angler for 25 years, representing both state and national teams.
