New execs appointed after record year for Simms


Simms Fishing Products has doubled the size of its leadership team on the heels of its most successful year to date. And the six new executives have all been promoted from within the company.

The move reflects Simms “commitment to the continued growth and development of the brand, its employees and the holistic fishing industry and community,” says the company.

“With continued positive tailwinds, the fishing community continues to grow and evolve,” says Simms, the manufacturer of waders, outerwear, footwear and technical fishing apparel. “Our newly-appointed executive team members are poised to capitalise on the industry’s forward momentum and the unique opportunities it provides.”

The promotions include Diane Bristol (pictured), Vice President Culture and Community; Stacie Bruno, Chief Financial Officer; Ben Christensen, Chief Operating Officer; Mike Moore, Chief Revenue Officer and Robert Gibson, Vice President Manufacturing.

They join K.C. Walsh, Executive Chair; Casey Sheahan, Chief Executive Officer; Jordan Wand, Chief Product Officer; Strick Walker, Chief Marketing Officer; and former Chief Operating Officer Lee Fromson, who becomes Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives and will support the team on a part-time bases.

Cumulatively the team represents almost 300 years of experience in the outdoor/fishing industry.

“Not only is our executive team filled with passionate anglers, it is also stacked with the experience and drive that will allow our brand to evolve with the industry and position Simms for exponential growth for the future.,” said CEO Casey Sheahan.
