Three major European fishing shows cancelled already in 2022

Share

The first three major European fishing shows of 2022 have been cancelled for the second year running because of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The largest freshwater fishing show in France, the Carrefour National de la Pêche et des Loisirs (Clermont Ferrand), has been called off just weeks before it was due to go ahead from January 21 to 23.

Also axed next year is Europe’s premier specialist event, Carp Den Bosch – formerly Carp Zwolle – and Germany’s Fish & Angel, which traditionally takes place alongside Europe’s largest hunting show, Jagd & Hund, which has also been cancelled.

Carp Den Bosch was due to be held in Brabanthallen, in s-Hertogenbosch, Holland, from January 21 to 23, while Fisch & Angel was to take place in Dortmund at the beginning of February.
