New Northland hire to be instrumental in product development
Ice fishing tackle specialist Northland Tackle has added to its pro-staff with television presenter and former walleye guide Jason Mitchell.
According to Northland CEO Gregg Wollner, the new appointment will be a ‘key component’ of the US company’s promotional mix and instrumental in its product development.
Mitchell has already been pivotal in the development of Northland’s new Rumble series of crankbaits. He says: “Northland has iconic products especially in the walleye fishing realm. I was really pleased that I had the opportunity to help them develop this new range. It’s been a dream come true to get our hands on something and develop and test products. And that is the game plan going forward.”
“Jason is as influential as anyone in this business, and he has built a loyal audience,” said Northland Marketing Director Mike Anselmo. “The relationship between Northland and Jason Mitchell is natural and easy to understand. His work with us directly benefits both the promotional and product development sides of our business. Jason is a credible voice and fishermen everywhere value his opinion.
