Marine fishing brands make changes at the top

Share

Two of the biggest brands in marine fishing have made changes at the top.

Kris Neff and Nick Stickler have swapped roles, with Neff becoming President at Boston Whaler and Stickler being appointed VP Category Management and Strategic Planning at Mercury Marine,

Both brands are owned by the Brunswick Corporation, which also has Lund, Crestliner, Lowe, Princecraft and Rayglass among the fishing boats in its portfolio.

Coincidentally, both men started their careers at the Ford Motor Company and both have been at Brunswick since 2005.

Under Neff’s direction, Mercury launched the 600hp V12 Verado earlier this year, as well as the 1st Mate Safety System, a multi-award winner at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show.

Stickler was President of the company’s Fort Wayne Operations before guiding Boston Whaler through a strong period of growth, including the recent re-opening of the Flagler facility in Florida.
