Bass Pro and Cabela’s win national digital award


Bass Pro and Cabela’s are winners in a new national awards programme designed to recognise excellence in digital retailing.

Bluecore, a retail technology company, launched the Retail Regeneration Awards this year to identify marketers and digital teams that have led brands through one of the most challenging transitions in retail history.

And the People’s Choice winner was Melissa LaRose (pictured), Digital Communications Specialist for Bass Pro and Cabela’s. LaRose launched a fleet of campaigns that quadrupled total email sales.

“Melissa has exhibited extraordinary leadership by exceeding expectations for her company’s email marketing programme, optimising campaigns to meet business goals and leading her team to creatively solve business problems,” said Bluecore. 

Winners were selected through a nomination process that evaluated the impact of each team and leader on the retail space over the past year.

“All 12 award winners were judged to have regenerated or restructured their organisation, technology and investments to match the pace of the industry and the consumer in one of the most pivotal macro-economic shifts of our time,” added Bluecore.

“These retail leaders are laying the foundation for long-term stability in a new era of commerce, where the speed at which consumers discover, evaluate and buy is changing as fast as their motivations for doing so.”
