frogg toggs expands into luggage category with Insights Outdoors acquisition
Rainwear brand frogg toggs has expanded into the luggage market with the acquisition of fellow Alabama-based fishing and hunting company Insights Outdoors.
The purchase of the five-year-old business opens up opportunities for growth and product development for both brands, frogg toggs announced this week. Its President and Marketing Director, Will Fowler, said: “We have worked diligently to strengthen and diversify our product offerings and the acquisition of Insights Outdoors supports that mission.
“Together, we will better serve our customers by offering a more expansive product selection based on quality, performance and innovative design.”
Insights Outdoors Business Manager Monte Bennett will join the frogg toggs executive team. “Insights Outdoors strives to produce exceptional value with quality, features and innovation, and we believe those values align perfectly with how frogg toggs approaches its brand and products,” said Bennett.
Launched in 2016, Insights Outdoors has developed, manufactured and marketed a line of fishing and hunting bags.
