Lucky John lures and Norfin apparel set to be available in UK

Two award-winning Salmo Group brands are set to be available in the UK.

The Latvian-based group’s lure and tackle supplier, Lucky John, which includes the high-end Norfin waterproof thermal clothing and footwear brand, has appointed online specialist, Specimen Fishing UK, as its representative in the region.

Dave Mutton, of Specimen Fishing UK, said: “The deal came out if the blue. We were approached by Lucky John and asked if we would consider being its distributor in the UK and developing a pro-staff team of anglers. I was vaguely aware of Lucky John, without knowing a great deal about it. However, that soon changed after I did some research.

“It is an established brand with a huge market not only in eastern and central Europe, but also the west. It has a history of making quality lures for over 30 years.

“From a business perspective, although we are primarily an online retailer, SFUK has been a distributor of American Fishing Wire for a number of years so have experienced in supplying retail customers.”
