Mossy Oak Fishing is now the official pattern of both Major League Fishing (MLF) and B.A.S.S. It is also the title sponsor of the Bassmaster High School Fishing Series.
The camouflage design brand announced the MLF partnership just prior to this week’s ICAST trade show where it has a booth.
“It has been a tremendous four years since we entered the fishing market, said Chris Paradise, Senior VP and Chief Sales Officer of the West Point, Mississippi, company. “Since then our pattern offerings have grown, our opportunities for greater outdoor involvement have expanded and our exposure through tournament fishing has increased our footprint in the competitive sports arena.
“We’re excited to be at ICAST, working with our current partners, developing new relationships and showcasing the variety of products featuring the official pattern of tournament bass fishing.”
Mossy Oak began creating patterns for hunters 30 years ago and has since expanded into other outdoor pursuit markets. Members of the Mossy Oak Fishing Team on the MLF tournament circuit include Kevin VanDam (pictured), Ott DeFoe, Jordan Lee and Brian Latimer.
In the B.A.S.S. series, the brand is represented by Gerald Swindle, Brandon Palaniuk, Greg Hackney, Brandon Cobb and Bill Lowen among others.
