Why ice fishing is set to be a hot topic in 90º Florida heat

Temperatures will be touching the Nineties in Orlando, Florida, this week, but ice fishing will be the hot topic on the Frabill booth at ICAST.
The Pure Fishing brand is launching its new VYPR Tip-up which, it says, will enable anglers to catch more fish in even the harshest of conditions. It is loaded with features, including a built-in aerator to keep the ice hole free from ice build-up, an inline reel and a lighted trip indicator.
Other attributes include a two-ball bearing reel designed to be tough, but sensitive, built-in hook and leader retainers, a clear-view lid and a high-vis reflective flag with dual trip settings.
The oversized design works with ice holes up to 10 inches in diameter. Battery power makes it versatile and portable and means less equipment to haul on to the ice.
Frabill’s VYPR Straight Line Tip-up will be available from September this year.
