Spiderwire makes bold boast on ICAST debutant

Durabraid, a new introduction from US brand, Spiderwire, is the most abrasion-resistant braided line on the market, says the manufacturer.
“It is 25% tougher than conventional braids,” said a Spiderwire spokesperson. “Increased abrasion resistance means that anglers using Durabraid can confidently land fish in and around heavy cover, the likes of which other lines can’t even touch.
“It produces even stronger knots and unequalled shock absorbency. In addition, Durabraid delivers the same easy management and casting that are hallmarks of the brand.”
Available in moss green and on filler spools from 6lb to 80lb test, the new braid comes in spool sizes of 150, 300 and 3,000 yards. It will be available from November this year.
Part of the Pure Fishing portfolio of brands, Spiderwire will be found on the Pure Fishing booth at this week’s ICAST trade show in Orlando.
Spiderwire (maxim – ‘Nothing Gets Away’) was founded as a result of a technology research project that initially had nothing to do with fishing and has become a go-to brand for anglers using lines in tough conditions.
