Lure and tackle brand Lunkerhun, has a host of ‘first look’ products lined up for buyers and media at the ICAST trade show in Florida.

In addition to a brand-new hard bait that is being kept strictly under wraps until the event, the Canadian company will be introducing new bags and combos.
Latest addition to its tackle storage/bag line-up is the LTS AVID Messenger Bag which, says Lunkerhunt, offers organised but versatile storage options. Features include a built-in plier pocket on the shoulder strap and webbing for attaching accessories. Made from water-resistant fabric, the AVID includes an easily accessible storage tray and two removable pouches for accessories or baits.
The demand for rod and reel combos has spiraled in the past year as a COVID-driven influx of new anglers look for an easy and affordable way to enter the sport. Dealers looking to strengthen their offering will find three new combos on the Lunkerhunt booth.
The brand’s sleek, black S7-Prime model pairs a fast-action, two-piece seven-foot carbon blank of medium heavy power, a premium reel seat and ceramic guides, with a 5BB 2000 size reel with an interchangeable left or right handle, a 5.2:1 gear ratio, non-slip front drag and line lay oscillation system.

The Lunkerhunt AUX Spinning Combo also combines a seven-foot foot two-piece pure carbon rod with a 2000 series reel, but is distinguished by its eye-catching colours.
The Atomic Combo is another spinning set-up, with a six-foot, eight-inch rod of composite carbon and fibreglass construction offering medium power, and a 2000 series reel that has 3BB +OWC, a long life bail spring and twist-free rotor. The Atomic is great for anglers of all ages and experience, says Lunkerhunt.
