Ugly Stik to debut new line of Bigwater rods at ICAST

When the going gets tough, the tough turn to Ugly Stik, says the brand known for its dependable, robust tackle.

And the new line of Bigwater rods being officially launched at this month’s ICAST trade show personifies the traditional qualities of the brand while introducing some major new improvements.

Popular features of the Bigwater range are still evident, including Ugly Tech, which combines graphite and fibreglass for strength and sensitivity, the Ugly Stik Clear Tip for extra strength, EVA grips and a seven-year warranty covering every rod.

Now, building on this platform, 2021 models also feature Fuji reel seats, Ugly Tuff Slick Butts, aluminium gimbals, PacBay roller guides and more eye-catching cosmetics.

Ugly Stik is part of the Shakespeare tackle company, which in turn is part of the extensive Pure Fishing portfolio that will be showcased at ICAST in Orlando, Florida, from July 20 to 23.
