Weihai Julia pledges price freeze until 2022

Despite a supply chain that is suffering from a lack of raw materials and price increases, one of the world’s top OEM rod and pole manufacturers has pledged to maintain a price freeze until last least 2022.

Weihai Julia will not be increasing its rates for customers. Its EVP, Alberto Solza, explained: “We feel that currently our main priority should be delivering consistency in the supply chain and getting our products to market. It is true that we have experienced price rises on our raw materials, but we don’t feel that it is the right time to do the same as our customers struggle with container availability, increased time to market and higher shipping costs. We are keen to keep the situation as stable as possible for the next six months and will review the situation at the end of the year if we need to.”
