With the US fishing industry poised like a coiled spring in readiness for ICAST’s long-anticipated return to an in-person show next month, the organisers can be relied up to deliver what they are good at.
A visitor-friendly, product-packed, business-driven, educational, media extravaganza is the least the American Sportfishing Association (ASA), the organising body, will present in Orlando beginning July 20th. ICAST has delivered time and again, breaking record after record as the ASA has juggled with, and added to, the show’s content to provide what visitors want. And this year there will hopefully be evidence in the aisles of something more… something less about business and more about how the industry is taking steps to safeguard the environment for future generations of anglers.
