After being cancelled in 2020 following the outbreak of COVID-19 and postponed this year, it has been announced on the China Fish website that the show will take place between October 18th to 20th.
The event – the 35th in its history – will be a combination of virtual and physical. Its traditional venue, Beijing’s New International Exhibition Centre, will be open to Chinese manufacturers and buyers. The show will also be available to international ‘visitors’ who will be able to visit booths ‘digitally’ thanks to a team of agents who will be on hand to take them onto the show floor.
The one-on-one video connection planned for the show was trialed at the CGC Expo in Weihai last year, successfully linking buyers with manufacturers. It is hoped that the on-floor agents will be able to provide a similar service for up to 400 buyers at China Fish.
It has also been announced that the CGC Weihai Expo, the trade and consumer tackle show, will take place from October 24th to 26th. Other shows being organised by the Beijing Admire Exhibition Company this year include The Boat Show Weihai China and the CGC (Weihai) Fishing Tackle, RV and Accessories Show. Both will take place at the Weihai International Exhibition Center from June 26th to 28th.
