Swedish terminal tackle supplier looking to spread wings across Europe

One of Sweden’s leading suppliers of terminal tackle is looking to extend its business across Europe.
Darts AB, a 40-year-old company based in Malmo, already exports to a growing number of businesses in Norway and Denmark and believes it has a wide ranging portfolio of products to appeal to retailers in Europe. The company’s Martin Bergman said: “We are an easy partner to work with and are always updating our line-up of products to ensures we are ahead of the market when it comes to new product launches.”
Darts AB was founded in 1979 by three anglers who were frustrated by the lack of coarse fishing gear available in Sweden, hitting upon the idea of sourcing top quality items from manufacturers across Europe – notably Italy, England and Holland. “We now boast a great assortment of gear from terminal tackle to everything a coarse angler needs,” added Bergman.
Its stand-out products include leaders, swivels and snaps as well as the Pik Rig, the ready-to-tackle rig for pike fishing. It also supplies start-up coarse fishing kits – particularly relevant during a time of an increase in participation in the sport across Europe and the rest of the world.
