Protective eyewear manufacturer Wiley X is to move location from Livermore in California to Frisco in Texas.
The company’s new global headquarters, manufacturing and distribution site is due to be completed by the second quarter of 2022. The central location, which will also be home to a flagship retail store, will increase shipping efficiencies, saving both time and costs, says Wiley X.
“Our entire team is committed to smart and sustained growth for many years to come,” said co-owner Dan Freeman. “Frisco is the ideal location geographically and economically to set us up for a successful future. The City of Frisco and the Frisco Economic Development Corporation have already been great business partners.”
Known as Sports City, Frisco is a perfect fit for a company focused on activities including fishing, shooting and motorsports, as well as the government/first responder network, said the Wiley X announcement.
“Wiley X is another in a long list of companies choosing Texas as home because of our thriving business climate. ‘Made in Texas’ is a powerful brand,” said Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
