AFTA confirms 2021 show will go ahead with last day open to public

Share

The Australian Fishing Trade Association (AFTA) has confirmed that its tackle show will return this year after a COVID-induced break.

The event will take place at the Gold Coast Convention Centre from Thursday July 8th to Saturday July 10th with the last day once again open to the public. It will be the second time that anglers have been allowed entrance to the show following a trial in 2019. It is an opportunity for manufacturers to talk and share their new products with end-users.

AFTA stresses that this is not a retail event and exhibitors will not be able to sell – it is a demonstration and information show only.

At the time of the announcement of the AFTA show taking place, the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre was operating under COVID safe guidelines.
