TV fishing show hosts choose Rapala RAIN gear

Share

US-based TV fishing show hosts, James Holst, Travis Frank and Kurt Walbeck, will be among those anglers wearing Rapala RAIN gear this season.

The new red and grey jackets and bibs are designed to keep the wearer dry for long periods in stormy conditions, while the RAIN Pro jackets and bibs, in black and grey, are built to even higher performance criteria for more extreme conditions.

Roach, a fishing guide on Minnesota’s Mille Lacs Lake, has tested the new gear. “Whether you’re filming a fishing show, putting clients on fish, fishing a tournament or just out fun-fishing, you don’t get to choose the weather,” says Roach.

“So these new Rapala RAIN suits are exactly what we need to ensure we can enjoy our time on the water by staying dry and comfortable. With superior gear from a legendary name you can trust, you can weather the storm, be it rain, boat spray, wind and even snow.”

Rapala RAIN suits feature two-layers and a mesh lining, while Rapala RAIN Pro suits feature three-layers of heavier duty construction. Rapala RAIN Pro shells comprise two nylon layers that prevent tearing.

The two jackets also share several features, including adjustable drawstrings; a two-way hood, waist and opening; an outer chest zip pocket, a magnetic flap on the main zipper; two hand-warming outer zip pockets and adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs.

The Rapala RAIN Pro jacket has two interior pouch pockets, and the Rapala RAIN jacket has three interior pockets – one zip, two pouch.

Rapala RAIN and Rapala RAIN Pro bibs both have adjustable suspenders; adjustable waist; two lined, hand-warming outer chest pockets, two outer, cargo-style leg pockets, one interior pouch pocket, zip-to-knee side zippers and adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs.
