Latest Sportfish catalogue reflects surge in fishing participation
The surge in fishing participation is reflected in the new season catalogue published by Sportfish, the UK-based supplier of fly and game fishing tackle.
The company says that its Spring/Summer 2021 collection includes more affordable items for those who are new to the sport as well as more technical and high-end equipment for those whose fishing activities have flourished during the lockdown.
It is packed with some of the very best kit and clothing from leading brands and also includes an extensive range of catch-and-release products to cater for that growing trend.
Product highlights include the innovative HEXGRID attachment system used on the new Flyweight waders from Simms Fishing Products and the brand new fly fishing collection from Schöffel Country.
With a relaxation of rules regarding retail next week, Sportfish is preparing for a phased reopening of its Game Fishing Centre in Berkshire next week (Tuesday April 13) and the group’s Farlows Pall Mall, London, outlet on Monday, April 12.
Farlows CEO, Robin Philpott, said: ” Our team supplied, entertained and informed customers during the long winter months and now with more positive health headlines, the arrival of spring and a new fishing season there is a positive feelgood factor.
“There has never been a better time to get out and enjoy the great British countryside and we are delighted to once again be able to offer our unique customer service in person to help everyone do just that.”
