Inventory hits 33-year high for New York fly fishing tackle supplier

With supply at the top of the tackle industry’s agenda right now, Angler Sport Group is reminding customers that it has the largest inventory in its 33-year history.

“We stayed cool and collected when COVID first went into the dictionary and, instead of cancelling or holding our fulfillment orders, we forged ahead and increased them,” says the supplier of fly fishing tackle and accessories.

The result is that Angler Sport, based in Elba in upstate New York, has ample supply of hooks, beads, boxes, tools, leaders and tippets as the surge in demand witnessed last season promises to continue into 2021. The company has a strong portfolio of top brands and reminds shops to look out for Daiichi hooks, ASG Beads, C&F design tools and boxes, Dinsmore weights, Meiho boxes, Vosseler reels and J:son flies and accessories. 

It has also added new items to its line, including Brooks boxes and patches, Ghostech indicators, Varivas leaders and tippets, Morell foam boxes and Selkirk Design ‘On the Fly’ rod holders.
