Shimano announces raft of senior management appointments

Tackle giant Shimano has announced a number senior management level appointments.

The Japanese-based supplier of fishing tackle, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, has added the responsibility for overseas sales in the Fishing Operations Division for Kinji Kiyotani. He is also currently Senior Vice President, Head of the Fishing Operations Division and Vice President of Domestic Sales.

Gozo Shimano, currently Vice President and Head of the SDM Development Department and SDM Development Division, will head up the Planning Department and oversee the Fishing Operations Division.

Yuzo Shimano, Vice President, and head of the Planning Department and Overseas Sales Department in the Fishing Operations Division, will take charge of the Marketing Department and Bicycle Components Division.

The new appoints will come into effect on April 1st.
