Pacific Pêche welcomes back international brands to its stores

Share

Seven months after being taken over, French retail chain Pacific Pêche has welcomed back major brands to the shelves at its stores.

Following its acquisition by a group headed up by Agathe Boidin, the new owner pledged to bring back the major international brands to its product offer. It had previously concentrated on own brand products, a strategy many believe was the cause of its problems in the past. Now its stores boast tackle from many of the main players in the industry, including Daiwa, Sert, Sensas, Shimano, Mitchell, Korda and Nash. It now offers more than 30,000 products at its 38 stores across the country.

A new management committee has been formed, made up of Arnaud Pellegrini (in charge of marketing and omni-channel commerce) and Frederic Eichrodt (Director of Supply and Purchasing). The company has also opened the first of its ‘concept’ stores in Aubière, close to Clermont Ferrand (pictured). It expects to open two more in 2021.
