Dragon Eyewear makes ‘natural progression’ into fishing market

Dragon Eyewear has introduced its first sunglasses range for the fishing market.
The four styles, part of the brand’s XP Cross-Performance line, are designed for every type of angling, from deep sea to fly.
“Dragon is well known for designing eyewear to complement water and snow activities, so expanding into the fishing space is a natural progression for the brand,” said Thomas Burkhardt, Senior Vice President, Global Brands, Marketing and Design, Marchon Eyewear, Inc.
The four styles – Shore X, Reel X, Tidal X and Vessel X – feature Dragon’s H2O Floatable technology and offer seven distinct lens tints. Style and lens tint options are specific to different environments for individual needs.
H20 Floatable technology is a lightweight, injection-moulded thermoplastic that is less dense than water, with water-resistant hardware. The lens have hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings to repel moisture, dirt, oils and weather. Each style has detachable floating leashes and rubber nosepads.
