Brexit sees UK carp brand set up distribution hub in Bulgaria

RidgeMonkey, the UK carp brand, has opened a European distribution centre based in Bulgaria as part of its plan to maintain a seamless service to its EU customers post-Brexit.
The company says that the new facility will service its retail and wholesale base. Marketing Manager, James Turner, told Angling International: “This is a huge development which will give our EU customers a direct point of contact to our dedicated sales team and improve product availability and delivery times throughout mainland Europe.”
The move has been made following the new regulations which came into force at the beginning of the year as a result of Brexit, The Sofia base will ensure that RidgeMonkey’s customers will not have to incur additional charges for the delivery of products within the EU.
RidgeMoney has also strengthened its team with the appointment of Ivan Tsvetkov as European Sales Manager.
