FeHoVa to go digital following new Government COVID restrictions

The organiser of Hungary’s largest fishing tackle exhibition has revealed plans to take it digital following the decision to cancel this year’s physical event due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 28th Fishing, Hunting and Arms International Exhibition (FeHoVa) was due to take place between March 18th and 21st, but the announcement of restrictions last month by the Hungarian Government has put paid to the event in its traditional mode.
Hungexpo, organiser of the event, says that it has been working on a digital alternative for some time. “The virtual exhibition is an innovative, easy-to-use site that will provide an online meeting place for exhibitors, visitors and potential partners. Visitors can roam the show online and ask for immediate information on a product or service,” it said.
“With the help of new technology, the exhibitors can give out details, downloadable material about their products to numerous visitors all at once. They can monitor the number of people who visit their stand and send out personalised offers.
“To reach the largest audience as possible, we are supporting the virtual exhibition with a well-grounded marketing campaign. The online event will also be available on the exhibition’s website and after a short registration will be available free of charge for visitors.”
The virtual show will take place on the same days as the cancelled physical show.
