The Big One Shows 2021 both fall victim to COVID-19 pandemic

Share

Two of Europe’s biggest consumer fishing shows due to take place next year have fallen victim to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Big One Shows in the UK at Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, and Farnborough, Hampshire, were due to take place in the Spring of next year. A statement issued by Bauer Media, owner of the events, said: “Firstly, we would like to say a massive thank you to all connected to the shows for their continued support. Unfortunately, due to current Government guidelines and continued uncertainty around the staging of large indoor events, we are postponing The Big One Shows.

“However, we are pleased to confirm that the dates for the rearranged Farnborough show is March 5 and 6, with Stoneleigh now taking place on April 3 and 4, 2022. We will continue to follow Government guidelines as the COVID-19 situation evolves. The health and welfare of our visitors, exhibitors and staff will remain paramount and we are working hard to ensure the 2022 shows prove to be memorable experiences for all our visitors.

“We hope you will be able to attend these new dates. If you have already purchased a ticket this will be valid for the new shows and you don’t need to do anything. If, unfortunately, you are unable to make the shows in 2022 you can get a full refund on your ticket up until March 19, 2021.

“We would like to assure you that in the unlikely event that the shows are cancelled again, you will be able to get a full refund on your tickets.”
