New Rapala USA team member will bring ‘energetic’ business focus


Rapala USA has added Bill Matthews to its sales, marketing and product development team. He will begin his role as a Territory Manager on January 1.

Working closely with the company’s management team, Tim Bailey & Associates and all Rapala customers, Matthews will cover 13 western states. He will report to Travis Tuma, Sales Director for Rapala USA, and be responsible for growing sales revenue, product development and coordinating key marketing intiatives.

“Bill will bring an energetic focus to our business in the Western US,” said Tuma. “His background across multiple brands and positions in the sport fishing industry, along with his established relationships with our customer base and sales force, will create great value for our growing business in North America.”

Matthews brings an extensive set of skills, market knowledge and industry background to the fishing tackle specialist, said a company statement.
