VMC Hooks names new USA Director of Sales and Operations

VMC Hooks’ Ben Miller, has been promoted to Director of Sales and Operations at the US based subsidiary of the VMC Group.

Miller, a resident of Maple Grove, Minnesota, USA, will assume his role on January 1 next year, reporting to VMC President, Cyrille Viellard.  He succeeds his longstanding colleague, Cyrille Mathieu.

“Ben is the very best fit for this position, which is a natural expansion of his former assignments from the retail side of the business. His new role will include new responsibilities with OEM/ODM existing and new customers. I am confident he will carry forward the momentum of VMC’s growth with our historic partners, bringing his expertise and enthusiasm, while continuing the unique tradition and family values of VMC,” said Mathieu.

Over the last 11 years, Miller has worked closely with Mathieu, developing the VMC brand on the retail side of the business. Their efforts have driven year-over-year growth in the US and Canada with the introduction of award-winning innovations.

Miller will take over the full VMC Hooks’ customer portfolio and be responsible for developing its position as the premier fishing hook partner in the American fishing tackle industry.
