Leading fishing apparel and footwear producer, Grundéns, has underlined its commitment to the US bass market by entering into a sponsorship deal with Major League Fishing (MLF) and signing up four pros to its team of ambassadors.
It has become the footwear sponsor of the Bass Pro Tour and MLF BIG5 circuits as well as signing up Skeet Reese, Bradley Roy, Adrian Avena and Gerald Spohrer.
“Bass fishing’s popularity is no secret and we are ready to have a significant presence in it,” said Grundéns CEO, David Mellon. “Our company is best known for protecting fishermen from the elements. ‘We Are Fishing’ is our motto and we are aiming to be the most trusted brand in the sport. In particular, our footwear line-up has expanded significantly in the last few years and by partnering with the MLF to become official footwear sponsor of the Bass Pro Tour and BIG5 series, we will get in front of a lot more anglers.
“Having Skeet, Bradley, Adrian and Gerald join Todd Kline in wearing our footwear and apparel is a testament to the utility and effectiveness of our products in the environment these guys fish year-round.”
“Many tournament anglers on the MLF and the BIG5 circuits have started to rely on Grundéns footwear to keep their feet comfortable when they are on the water and make their fishing experience more enjoyable,” said Jim Wilburn, MLF President and CEO. ” Grundéns is a natural fit for MLF and our BIG5, so we are very excited to add it to our sponsorship line-up.”
