‘I can’t wait’ – Wrighting joins Browning in newly-created marketing and product role


Zebco Europe, the distributor of Browning fishing tackle, has announced that Pemb Wrighting will join it this month in the role of European Marketing and Product Manager.

The company’s Simon Henton said: “Earlier this year we took the decision to bring in a dedicated Marketing and Product Manager for Browning. We want to bring a new level of focus and coordination to the brand and its products across the whole of Europe.

“We had a great number of applicants of a very high stature which made the recruitment process very rewarding. Ultimately, choosing Pemb from among the other applicants was relatively easy as his combination of fishing knowledge, marketing and product experience and his motivation for the role, perfectly fitted our needs.

“We welcome Pemb to Zebco and we are very excited about where he can lead Browning Fishing in the next chapter of its European growth and development.”

Wrighting said: “I’m absolutely delighted, excited and honoured to accept the role. Browning is a brand I’ve held in high esteem from the very start of my fishing career – in fact my first ever pole was a Browning Alize over 20 years ago!

“The job will entail a lot of hard work and I can’t wait to get stuck into it. I must thank my previous employer, Tackle Guru, for a great six years. I’m leaving plenty of great friends there and wish them all the best for the future.”
