Why new Brunswick President is the right pick for the role

Share

The largest boat portfolio in the recreational marine industry has a new President. Aine Denari, whose career has been spent largely in the automotive industry, begins her role at the Brunswick Boat Group today. She replaces Huw Bower, who left the business in September.

Explaining why Denari was the right pick for one of the industry’s biggest jobs, Brunswick Corporation’s CEO, David Foulkes, said: “Aine is a proven leader with two decades of experience defining and implementing industry-leading strategies, driving change and designing and leading world-class teams.

“Consumer expectations of boating are being led by other mobility experiences and Aine’s experience in implementing new technology in the automotive and other industries will help advance our boat group strategy and capabilities.”

Denari spent six years at the Ford Motor Company and seven years as an executive at two leading global consulting firms. Since 2014 she has worked at ZF AG, a billion-dollar segment of Global Electronics, where she led the integration of the TRW Automotive business into the ZF Group, which involved 140,000 employees in 230 locations around the world.

Brunswick, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, owns brands including Crestliner, Lund, Sea Ray, Lowe, Mercury and Meridian.
